Police: A Stalled Tractor Trailer on the Middlesex Turnpike

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

 

Wednesday, Dec. 19

7:21 a.m.- A security alarm was accidentally set off at Huckins Farm.

8:52 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a loose dog near Lane Elementary School. The responding officer could not locate the dog upon searching the area. 

9:40 a.m.- There was a car accident without injury in the parking lot of D'Angelo's at 363 Great Road. 

9:41 a.m.- A caller reported a disabled vehicle on Great Road at Brooksbie Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle had a flat tire and was waiting for AAA to arrive.

11:11 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a stopped tractor trailer in the middle of the road on the Middlesex Turnpike at Plank Street. The responding officer reported the operator was able to make repairs and move along.

2:13 p.m.- Police received a call reporting wires down in the area of Macintosh Road and Appletree Lane. The Bedford Fire Department reported it was a telephone wire, and Verizon was notified. 

2:48 p.m.- A caller reported a loose dog in the area of Concord Road at Davis Road. The dog was described as brown with a pink collar. The responding officer was unable to locate the dog.

5:57 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a car crash with injury on Concord Road at Great Road. One person was transported to Emerson Medical Center.
