11:30 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting the odor of natural gas in the area of 28 Sweetwater Ave. National Grid was notified and responded. 

4:03 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a solicitor in the area of Bonair Avenue. The individual was describes as a male with light hair, wearing dark clothing and a green backpack. The responding officer checked the area, but the solicitor was not located.

4:28 p.m.- BPD and the Bedford Fire Department responded to a two alarm house fire at 224 Carlisle Road. One resident was rescued from the home, while it took responders around 25 minutes to get the fire under control. The fire caused approxmately $150,000 in property damage.
