Bedford residents young and old gathered at the town common land in front of First Parish Dec. 10 to watch the tree lighting...and await the arrival of a special guest.
The annual Bedford tree lighting ceremony took place Monday night with kids young and old gathering at the town common land in front of First Parish to watch the trees set aglow, and wait for Santa's annual appearance.
Leading up to the tree lighting, children gathered inside First Parish to listen to holiday stories, and enjoy music while waiting for Santa to show up.

Within moments of the trees lighting up, a fire engine siren could be heard, and members of the Bedford Fire Department pulled up with Santa in tow.
