1. Kulgrinda in Concert
Where/When: Concord Masonic Lodge, 58 Monument Square, Concord; 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 7
Why Go: Because how often do you have the chance to enjoy the traditional folkloric music of Lithuania? Kulgrinda, an enchanting and mesmerizing folkloric group founded in 1990, performs the traditional music of Lithuania dating back to its pre-Christian culture, the enturies-old folksongs and chants called dainas accompanied by Lithuanian bagpipe (dūdmaišis) and the zither-like kankles.

2. Concord Youth Theatre presents Fee Fi Fo Fum
Where/When:358 Baker Ave, Concord; 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 7; 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9
Why Go: Because "Fee Fi Fo Fum" is a musical adaption of Jack and the Beanstalk that promises to delight audiences of all ages.

Where/When: National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington; 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8
Why Go: In "Journeys and Discoveries: The Stories Maps Tell," maps chart everything from newly explored territories, familiar hometowns or distant theatres of war. In this free exhibition, visitors can join Hilary Anderson Stelling, the museum's director of Exhibitions and Audience Development and curator of the exhibition, to learn more about the all the varied and interesting stories maps tell.

4. Lexington Symphony’s Concert in the Round
Where/When: Cary Memorial Building, 1605 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington; 7 p.m., Saturday, June 8
Why Go: For the chance to meet and mingle with professional musicians and gain a new perspective on the orchestra, which will be situated in the middle of the performance hall this informal concert in the round. The program features favorite selections by individual sections of the orchestra (strings, woodwinds, and brass) and a performance of Vaughan Williams’s “The Lark Ascending” by 16-year-old Lexington violinist Yuki Beppu. Plus, audience members can change seats at each break between pieces -- and can even sit right in the middle of the orchestra.

5. Spring A Cappella Jamboree
Where/When: Lexington High School, 251 Waltham St, Lexington; 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 8
Why Go: It's the final a cappella concert of the year at LHS, and a chance to hear groups like Euphoria, Guacamole, Mixed Nuts, Onomatopoeia, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Pitch Pipes and Rock Paper Scissors.
Pricing: $10; $5 for students and seniors
