1. Community Film Presentation of "Buck"
Where/When: Alcott School, 93 Laurel St, Concord; 7 p.m., Friday, June 14
Why Go: The Concord-Carlisle Schools Adult & Community Education is hosting a showing of "Buck," an award-winning documentary about horses, a horse-whisperer, leadership, compassion, and the human condition. As well, some special local organizations will be on hand, including The Nature Connection, Therapy Dogs International, Love Lane Stables, and Helping Hands.

2. The Merry Widow
Where/When: Friends of The Performing Arts in Concord, 51 Walden St, Concord; 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16
Why Go: A comic operetta written by Franz Lehar, The Merry Widow is a collaboration of the resident groups and will be directed by Kathy Lague. The opera will be fully staged and sung in the English translation by Quade Winter. Proceeds benefit operations of 51 Walden.

3. Pony Rides at Four Fillies Farm
Where/When: 55 Allen St, Lexington; 3 p.m., Saturday, June 15
Why Go: The Lexington Equestrian Team is hosting pony rides as a fundraiser for the team.
Pricing: $10

4. Dancing in Depot Square
Where/When: Depot Square, 13 Depot Sq, Lexington; 7 p.m., Saturday, June 15
Why Go: For a chance to leisten to and learn from Boston's favorite neighborhood Balkan band Zdravets, with teaching by members of the band. Mostly easy, village-style dances.

5. Asian Cultural Center GBAYSO Summer Concert
Where/When: Cary Memorial Building, 1605 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington; 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 15
Why Go: Because it's the Greater Boston Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra's summer concert.
