Report: Boston Small Business Owners Expect More Revenue Next Year. But Do They Plan to do More Hiring?

Find out what small business owners are forecasting for business briskness, hiring and revenue in 2013.

 

67 percent of Boston small business owners said they anticipate their staffing needs will remain consistent through 2013, while 24 percent said they plan on hiring new employees, according to a new Bank of America report. 

While only 35 percent of small business owners surveyed said they anticipate the local economy improving within the next year, 57 percent said they anticipate revenue increases in 2013.

Black Friday does not seem to have an impact on Boston's small business owners, with 94 percent of those surveyed reporting Black Friday has minor or no impact for their business's bottom line.
