Gas prices in Bedford continue their upward march, with prices reaching the highest point ever in February and up more than a quarter in the past month.
AAA Southern New England said its survey of prices in Massachusetts on Monday found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.72 per gallon, four cents higher than a week ago and up 31 cents over the past month.
On Wednesday, the average price for a gallon of regular was $3.88, up signifcantly over a month ago, according to AAA.
The national average for self serve unleaded of $3.73 and a year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $3.60.
According to prices listed on AAA's app, least expensive gallon of gas on Tuesday was being sold at the Great Road Gulf with a listed price of $3.80. More prices put the next cheapest gas -- $3.86 per gallon -- at both the Great Road Shell Station and Northside Convenience. The price is higher by more than a dime at the Sunoco on Great Road at $3.98 per gallon.
