Insulet Moving Out of Bedford

The insulin pump manufacturer is leaving Oak Park Drive.

Insulet Corp. is moving its corporate headquarters from 9 Oak Park Drive in Bedford to a 90,000 square-foot building at 600 Technology Park Drive in Billerica, reported Banker & Tradesman.

An estimated 500 employees of Insulet and subsidiary Neighorhood Diabetes are leaving Bedford. 

The company recently reported increases sales of its OmniPod tubeless insulin pump.

"We are pleased to announce our relocation to a larger space in Billerica, which is a testament to the success and growth Insulet has experienced since its founding in 2000," Duane DeSisto, president and chief executive officer of Insulet, said in a statement.
