New Inn Brings ‘Revolutionary Hospitality’ to Lexington

Visitors to Lexington who are looking to stay in a place with historic flair have a new option. 

A new inn in three antique buildings opened in Lexington last week.

The Inn at Hastings Park is a dream come true for the Kennealy family, who live in Lexington.   

“My husband and I always have embraced a lifestyle that prioritizes warm hospitality, gathering family and friends, and sharing great food,” said Trisha Pérez Kennealy. 

“With the opening of The Inn at Hastings Park, we look forward to sharing our style of hospitality with guests who come to us for a variety of purposes: tourists experiencing New England; corporate travelers whose work takes them to Boston, Cambridge and the Metro West area; and people from within our community who are looking to experience something special.” 

Daniel Braun is general manager of the inn. He is a native of Luxembourg and has close to 20 years in luxury hotel management. He most recently was general manager at Castle Hill Inn, a Relais & Chateau property in Newport, RI.

Mathew Molloy is the executive chef at the inn’s restaurant called Artistry on the Green. Molloy has been a chef at some of Greater Boston’s finest restaurants, including Lumière in Newton and Beacon Hill Bistro in Boston. Molloy applies his classical training to reinterpret American cuisine.  

Lexington resident Robin Gannon of Robin Gannon Interiors is the interior designer for The Inn at Hastings Park. "Gannon created a design scheme that stays true to the building’s architectural history, but she reinterprets the space with modern sensibility.  

“Each of the 22 guest rooms is unique in its layout and design. Gannon uses a vibrant color palette teaming such shades as lavender and chocolate, citron and cobalt, peach and puddy and other surprising color combinations. The three guest rooms in the Barn reflect Lexington’s patriotic history and revolutionary spirit with a contemporary play on Americana red, white and blue. Gannon and Pérez Kennealy prioritized incorporating New England craftsmen and artisans into the design for The Inn. Guests will appreciate Sister Parish Designs and Peter Fasano wallpapers, Dunes and Duchess candelabras and sconces, and O and G Studios wood furniture. All of the beds are dressed with throw blankets woven on an old fashioned loom in Maine. Gannon hopes that the overall effect of the design scheme is the creation of a space that reflects great character while celebrating the luxuries of home,” according to the inn.  

The Inn is promoting itself as the “only boutique luxury property located in one of Massachusetts’ most popular tourist destinations.”

“The Inn pampers guests in a variety of ways. The three antique buildings that comprise The Inn have been thoughtfully restored to showcase luxurious accommodations and the most modern of amenities.
