TELL US: What Eatery Are You Most Excited to See Open in Bedford in 2013?

With a Panera, Chipotle and Subway all planning to open up shop in Bedford this year, which restaurant are you most excited to in town?

Back in January we reported Attorney Pamela Brown was seeking permits from Bedford for a Subway restaurant at 170 Great Road, the old Verizon Store next to the Post Office.

Construction has already started to accomodate a take out focused Panera at 213 Burlington Road, and the restaurant is expected to open its doors by March 21, according to Brown.

Although it remains unclear when Chipotle will open its doors, it is expected the burrito joint will fill the vacancy at the old Friendlys location at 343 Great Road sometime this year.

So we want to know, whether your a fan of Mexican food, soups and sandwiches or all three, which restaurant are you excited to see open in Bedford in 2013?

If you're not a fan of these eateries, let us know what restaurant or what kind of restaurant you would like to see open up shop in Bedford. Tell us in the comment below!

I'll always be "from" Bedford MA but live in Tennessee now. We have Subway, Salsarita, Applebees, Wendys, etc. etc. even a new Panera with "Drive Through," - every lame formulaic chain food you could imagine. They are all colorless and soulless and do nothing to develop a sense of place or community. All together they are not worth a single one-of-a-kind mom-and-pop restaurant, be it italian, chinese, mexican, ice cream, or a coffee/bagel shop. Good luck keeping Bedford a special place with character.

Would love to see some sort of pub-type restaurant in town.
