Looking Back on the Blizzard of '13 in Bedford

There were few power outages in Bedford during the snowstorm, and a statewide travel ban kept car accidents to a minimum as well.

 

Well, Bedford, we made it. The Blizzard of 2013 left up to 30 inches of snow on some parts of town.

, and a statewide travel ban issued by Gov. Patrick kept everyone off the roads for most of the day Friday and Saturday.

The parking ban in town remains in effect throughout the snow removal process, according to a statement issued on the town website Saturday afternoon, and "DPW will be working into the evening clearing the roads."

While the worst of the storm has passed, there is a 90 percent chance of rain forecasted in Bedford for Monday, which means the snow left behind by storm is going to get heavy...and fast.
