“Our 5K Challenge is a terrific, family-friendly event that supports health, community, social, recreational, and fund-raising components,” said Jonathan Crockett, MCC’s Coordinator of Athletics, Health and Wellness. “It’s an opportunity to walk, jog or run on one of the most scenic, enjoyable trails in the area!”

Advance registration is $25 (for participants ages 11 and older); race-day registration is $30. MCC student registration is $10; kids ages 10 and under are free. Everyone who pre-registers by Thursday, Sept. 26, will receive a FREE MCC 5K Challenge T-shirt.

Race-day registration will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Bedford Campus Cafeteria (Building 8). The 5K Challenge starts promptly at 10 a.m., rain or shine. For the safety of all participants, no dogs or strollers are permitted.
