Police: A Tree Down on Russett Road

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, Dec. 17

11:38 a.m.- An anonymous caller reported she was riding the 62 bus when a suspicious black male in his 30s wearing a skull cap and multiple hoodies asked her where the police station was. The individual then went to talk to the driver. MBTA police were notified.

12:23 p.m.- Bedford police responded to call from Contable Constance Sorenson at 34 Crosby Drive after requests for an officer present while she attempted to take possession of a vehicle. The vehicle was towed without incident.

3:24 p.m. Police received a call reporting a loose dog in front of John Glenn Middle School. The Animal Control Officer responded, but the dog was not found.

3:51 p.m.- An individual came into the Bedford Police Department to report the larceny of a trash barrel at 100 Sweetwater Ave. 

7:30 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a tree in the road on Russett Road. The responding officer reported he moved the debris out of the road and notified DPW to handle in the morning.
