Police: An OUI Arrest

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Saturday, Dec. 1

5:16 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from Hanscom Air Force Base reporting a black pickup truck sitting at the lights at Shawsheen Road and Great Road. The vehicle reportedly did not move for several cycles of the lights. Stephen Surrette, of 377 Great Road in Bedford, was arrested for operating under the influence.

12:06 p.m.- A resident of Noreen Drive reported two suspicious males going door-to-door. The responding officer spoke with one of the men, who reported they were delivering holiday wreaths.

12:46 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Meadowbrook Road reporting two bicycles had been stolen.

1:58 p.m.- BPD received a call from the VA Police reporting a white male in his 50s, wearing white sneakers, glasses and with a black eye had gotten off a bus at the VA Medical Center, was intoxicated and was yelling at other patrons. VAPD reported the individual had left on foot heading southbound on Springs Road. Responding officers reported the man was gone by the time they arrived in the area.

9:30 p.m.- Police received a call from an employee of Stop and Shop reporting a customer believed their wallet had been stolen. 

10:01 p.m.- Police received a call from a patron of the Bedford Plaza Hotel requesting an officer to settle a dispute between her and the clerk over linens. The responding officer reported the issue was resolved.
