Police Log: A Misplaced Dumpster

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 8

8:13 a.m.- An officer reported he was in the area of 379 North Road with a motorist who had struck a deer. The officer reported the deer had run into the woods.

8:54 a.m.- An individual came into the Bedford Police Department to report a green pickup truck parked on Hillside Avenue near Great Road blocking the sidewalk and part of Hillside Avenue. The responding officer reported the truck had left the area. 

11:45 a.m.- A resident of Page Road called to report repeated annoying phone calls.

1:50 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a dumpster blocking a lane of travel near 55 Hartwell Road. The responding officer reported a new dumpster was being dropped off and the old one was being removed. 

1:51 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Anthony Road who reported a vehicle had been parked in front of her home since before Christmas. The responding officer spoke with the owner of the vehicle and informed her she could not leave her vehicle parked on the street overnight.

9:06 p.m.- Concord Police called to report a vehicle being operated erratically on Concord Road heading into Bedford. Officers checked the area with negative results. Billerica Police were notified.
