Police Log: A Suspicious Photographer Outside of Marshalls

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Friday, Feb. 15

6:46 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a car crash in front of 85 Page Road.

6:48 a.m.- A caller reported a vehicle had passed him over the double yellow line on Great Road at South Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone by the time he checked the area.

7:13 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a car accident on Old Billerica Road at Burlington Road. Another caller reported the vehicle was disabled, and there was no accident. The responding officer reported the vehicle had been moved off the roadway.

12:36 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a vehicle was operating at a high rate of speed and in the opposite lane on Great Road before pulling into the Great Road Shopping Center near the Paper Store. The responding officer spoke with the operator of the vehicle in regards to his driving. 

1:47 p.m.- A caller reported a suspicious male parked in a brown SUV outside of Marshalls taking pictures of females as they exited the store. The responding officer reported he spoke with the individual who said he was testing a new camera lens out while waiting for his wife who was in the store. 

4:54 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of 305 Concord Road reporting her daughter, a student at Davis Elementary School, was overdue returning home after school. School officials reported the girl was last seen waiting in line for the bus, but the bus company reported the girl was not on the bus. A responding officer reported the girl was found at a friend's house. 

9:49 p.m.- A caller reported a car accident in front of 95 Hartwell Road. There were no persons injured.

11:13 p.m.- Police received a call reporting an opossum was struck by a vehicle behind Town Center.
