Police Log: An Arrest at Jiffy Lube

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Thursday, April 4

3:23 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from the Reading Police Department reporting they had arrested Frank Cambria, wanted for domestic assault and battery out of Hanscom Air Force Base on April 3, for operating under the influence of alcohol.

7:47 a.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Liberty Road reporting a brown Labrador in her yard. The responding officer reported he used the dog's license number to locate the owner. 

10:15 a.m.- Police received a call from FujiFilm at 45 Crosby Drive reporting a larceny.

11:40 a.m.- A caller reported smoke from a fire near Lane Elementary School. The responding officer reported finding an outside fire at 12 Notre Dame Road. The property owner put the fire out. 

7:46 p.m.- Police received a call from Hanscom Security Forces reporting a motorist had driven up to their gate and informed them there was a male shooting a shotgun off the Hartwell Road bike path. Officers responded and Lexington Police were notified. Officers searched the area, but there was no sign of the individual with the shotgun.

11:30 p.m.- A caller reported hearing a lot of yelling come from 5102 Thompson Farm Road. Officers responded. 

Friday, April 5

12:52 a.m.- Police received a call from a security company reporting a break in at Northside Convenience.  Officers arrived moments after the alarm activation, according to BPD, but no one was found inside the store when officers arrived on scene. This incident remains under investigation by BPD.

1:41 a.m.- An officer reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the Bedford Motel.

6:46 a.m.- A caller reported a suspicious black vehicle parked on the corner of Ellingson Road and Springs Road with one male occupant. The responding officers reported there was no vehicle matching that description in the area. 

8:11 a.m.- Police responded to an alarm call at Jiffy Lube. Officers reported there was one employee on scene, Justin Elazegui, 27, of Shirley Street in Lexington. Elazegui was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Concord District Court for restraining order violation.

9:39 a.m.- BPD received a call from the State Police requesting assistance with a domestic incident outside of a blue Ford on Route 3 south. Officers checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle. Lexington Police along with the State Police reported the vehicle was now on Route 128.

12:56 p.m.- An individual came into the station to speak with an officer regarding feeling threatened by a neighbor.

4:23 p.m.- Lexington Police reported a vehicle being operated erratically on Grove Street in Lexington, heading toward Page Road in Bedford. The operator was reportedly having lane control issues. Responding officers searched the area, but could not locate the vehicle. The vehicle was also not at the address it was registered to.
