Police Log: Great Road Rage

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 14

12:13 a.m.- An officer reported the lights were left on at the Edge Sports Center field and bubble complex. These lights are usually turned off overnight. The officer notified a key holder to the Edge. Less than an hour later, an officer reported the lights had turned off and appeared to be on a timer.

9:11 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a motorist reporting she was followed by a white male in his fifties driving a red Toyota sedan from Westford and Carlisle into Bedford. The caller reported the male tailgated her and tried to force her off the road on Great Road near Ashby Place. The responding officer reported the vehicle was not located, and the license plate was unknown.

10:44 a.m.- Police received a call reporting an aggresive turkey at 14 Crosby Drive. The Animal Control Officer reported the turkey was gone by the time he checked the area.

7:09 p.m.- A caller reported a woman yelling outside the group home at 20 Railroad Ave. The responding officer spoke with a staff member from the location, who said the resident would remain inside for the rest of the evening.
