Police Log: Loose Dogs Around BHS

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 15

7:31 a.m.- A Bedford Charter bus driver reported two dogs running loose around Bedford High School. The driver reported he was concerned for the safety of the dogs due to the amount of traffic in the area, and put them inside the tennis court fence. The responding officer reported there were no dogs inside the tennis court by the time she arrived on the scene.

2:47 p.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a resident of Franklin Road reporting a suspicious vehicle had been circling the neighborhood for 45 minutes. The responding officer checked the area with negative results. 

3:00 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to report a past hit and run accident in the parking lot of Whole Foods.

9:40 p.m.- A resident of Selfridge Road reported their carbon monoxide detector had gone off. The responding officer reported it was a faulty activation, and the homeowner was directed to change their detector.
