Police Log: More From the Blizzard

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Sunday, Feb. 10

5:50 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a motorist reporting a vehicle has been following their vehicle too closely. The responding officer reported he stopped the vehicle on Great Road at South Road and issued the operator a citation.

6:58 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a car had crashed into a snowbank near 71 Page Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle was towed off the guardrail.

9:19 a.m.- A caller reported customers at The Edge had parked blocking the entrance to 180 Hartwell Road. The responding officer reported he located the owners of the vehicles who moved their vehicles.

9:20 a.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Neillian Road reporting a DPW truck plowed the entrance to his driveway making it impossible to get his vehicle out of the driveway. The responding officer reported DPW was notified to remove the snow.

1:37 p.m.- Police received a call reporting that the resident of 2 Putnam Road was having her plow driver pile snow from her driveway across the street on the property of 1 Putnam Drive. The responding officer reported he instructed the resident not to have her snow plowed into the street.
