Police Log: Snow Drifts on Railroad Avenue

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Sunday, Feb. 17

12:33 p.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting the sound of a male screaming in pain in the area of of Ashby Road. The responding officer reported he checked the area, but did not find the individual.

2:19 p.m.- A caller reported a civil problem at 180 South Road. The responding officers reported it was a civil matter, and they advised the parties involved how to proceed with the matter in civil court.

2:25 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a large rock in the road on Old Billerica Road near Wagon Wheel Drive. The responding officer reported the rock was in front of 119 Old Billerica Road. DPW was notified to remove the rock.

2:51 p.m.- A caller reported a car accident without injury in front of 14 Stone Gate Lane. 

6:22 p.m.- Police received a call reporting drifting snow in the area of 50 Railroad Avenue creating a hazard in the road. The responding officer reported the snow was indeed causing a hazard, and DPW was notified. 

8:05 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a single-vehicle accident with no injuries in front of 50 Railroad Avenue. The vehicle was towed, and DPW was again notified about the problem in the roadway.
