Police Log: Two Aggressive Dogs Near Fawn Lake

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Sunday, Jan. 20

9:43 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting two aggresive stray dogs on the path between Fawn Lake and Sweetwater Avenue. The caller reported one appeared to be a brown Dalmatian mix. The responding officer and the caller walked the path, and the officer reported she located the dogs owners, who told her there had been a problem with their electric fence.

11:34 a.m.- Police received several calls reporting wires down on a tree on Springs Road. A responding officer reported NSTAR cut the power and the Department of Public Works cut the tree.

2:06 p.m.- A caller reported the tow truck driver who was towing her car from Florida had damaged the paint on the vehicle, and was attempting to buff it out with rubbing compound, which was making the damage worse. Responding officers spoke with both parties.

3:13 p.m.- A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a civil complaint that occured inside Home Goods. The responding officer reported they checked the parking lot for the suspect vehicle, but it had left the area.
