Police Log: Two Arrests at CVS

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, Jan. 21

5:58 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a motorist reporting he had struck a deer with his car on North Road at Carlisle Road. DPW was notified to remove the deer.

11:35 a.m.- Police received a call reporting protestors impeding traffic on the sidewalk near CVS. The responding officer reported the protestors were being peaceful and were not disturbing traffic.

3:32 p.m.- A caller reported the same group of protestors at CVS mentioned above. The caller said the protestors were impeding traffic. The responding officer reported the protestors were standing next to a sign of President Obama, and were not impeding pedestrian traffic.

5:09 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to turn in a wallet they had found near the Bedford Post Office.

10:19 p.m.- Police received a call from an employee of CVS reporting suspicious individuals that had been involved in past shopliftings were in the store. Danielle McGrail of 489 McGrail Street in Metheun was placed under arrest for two prior warrants and Derek McGrail of 365 Pelham Street in Metheun was placed under arrest for two prior warrants.
