Police: Reports of a Garbage Truck On Fire

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 5

6:09 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from the Lexington Police Department requesting help locating a garbage truck travelling on Great Road or Bedford Street in Lexington that was possibly on fire. Officers responded and checked the area, including surrounding parking lots, but found nothing.

9:28 a.m.- BPD received a call from the Billerica Police Department reporting a tree down on wires in Bedford south of 900 Middlesex Turnpike. The Department of Public Works was notified, and contacted NSTAR. 

3:22 p.m.- Police received a call from an employee of McDonald's reporting a dispute between another employee and a customer. The reporting officers spoke with both parties and sent the customer on his way.
