Police: Why Did The Turkey Cross Summer Street?

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Friday, Dec. 28

6:57 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a turkey had been struck by a vehicle on Summer Street near Wiggins Avenue. The responding officer reported he observed the turkeys in the area and all appeared to be well.

7:18 p.m.- A tree branch was partly down in the roadway near 109 Carlisle Road. DPW was notified. 

10:41 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a split tree behind 106 Davis Road near Revolutionary Ridge Road that would be a hazard were it to fall. DPW was notified.

2:34 p.m.- A resident of Sheridan Road reported his neighbor was dumping leaves and branches from her property onto his, and that she does the same to other neighbors. 

9:05 p.m.- Officers responded to Fawn Lake, and issued a citation for a marijuana violation.
