UPDATE (1:25 p.m.): Hartwell Road Reopen Following Car Crash Thursday Morning

A car accident on Hartwell Road in Bedford Thursday morning resulted in the road closing, according to the Bedford Police Department.

UPDATE 1:24 p.m.- Hartwell Road is reopen to traffic. 

UPDATE 10:40 a.m.-Both men injured work for C.J. Mabardy Construction, based out of Cambridge, and were transported to Lahey Clinic, according to Jones. 

The crash occured on Hartwell Road near Kendall Court at around 8:35 a.m. and is under investigation by the Bedford Police, Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, according to Jones.

UPDATE 10:17 a.m.- The crash occured at a detail construction site Thursday morning and left two men injured, according to Det. Lt. Scott Jones of the Bedford Police Department.

The two men were transported to the hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Jones

Original Story- A motor vehicle accident near 180 Hartwell Road at around 9:14 a.m. Thursday resulted in the road closing, according to the Bedford Police Department twitter account

Police urged motorists to use an alternate route through town. 

A person was injured, and the Massachusetts State Police accident reconstruction crew was called to the scene, according to scanner reports.
