Shoplifter Arrested at T.J. Maxx

A shoplifter at T.J. Maxx was arrested by the Bedford Police Department.

 

The Bedford Police Department responded to a Nov. 27 call from store security at T.J. Maxx reporting that they had detained a shoplifter, according to Detective Lieutenant Scott Jones of BPD.

Shaunte Ferguson, last known address of 27 Wolcott Street in Boston, was placed under arrest by BPD after attempting to take wallets, shoes and clothing, according to Jones.

There is no connection between Ferguson's Nov. 27 arrest and the BPD investigation of three recent instances of shoplifting at T.J. Maxx, all committed by the same suspect.

The three separate instances occurred on May 5, Sept. 29 and Oct. 24, and involved the same female suspect, always wearing a black North Face jacket, walking into the store, shoplifting multiple expensive pocketbooks and leaving the store immediately.
