BHS Senior Signs National Letter of Intent With Merrimack College

BHS senior and softball player Katie Gildea signed the National Letter of Intent to play at Merrimack College.

 

The following information was provided by the Bedford High School Athletic Department:

Katie Gildea signed the National Letter of Intent to play softball at
Merrimack College next year.  Gildea is a four-year starter on the BHS
varsity softball team and is currently one of the team’s captains.

She was selected as a Dual County League all-star her sophomore and junior year. She has played tournament softball for seven years and is currently captain of the
Rhode Island Rebels Gold.

Katie will be studying sports medicine and physical therapy and she was selected to be in the honors program.
