Bedford Buccaneer Named to ESPN Boston Football Players to Watch List

Bedford High running back Olan Abner was named to the ESPN Boston Preseason MIAA All-State Football Watch List.

The list is a collection of the players to watch from across the commonwealth. ESPN also named its preseason all-star football team.

Abner is a two-way player who not only racks up yards as a running back, but also plays outside linebacker.

The five-foot, nine-inch senior and the rest of the Buccaneers kick off the 2013 campaign against Martha’s Vineyard on Sept. 7.
