Great Start for Bedford High Football
Bedford bested Martha's Vineyard in season opener on Saturday.
Bedford High’s ground attack was too much for opening game opponent Martha’s Vineyard as the Buccaneers won 21-0 on Saturday.
Bedford scored on the ground with touchdowns from Joe Zampell, Olan Abner and Bobby McDonald. With the score 13-0 in the second half, Bedford’s defense stopped the Vineyarders on a fourth and goal play.
The Bucs' next game is on Friday, Sept. 20 at Belmont High School. The home opener is on Friday, Sept. 27 against rival Concord-Carlisle. Find the complete schedule here.
