Bedford Police Log: Police Search for Man Living in Woods, Rocks Thrown at Hotel
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Aug. 9:
A branch was hanging on wires on South Road. NSTAR and Verizon were notified.
Wires fell on North Road at Green Street. It was a telephone wire, so Verizon was notified.

Billerica Police called Bedford to ask for help locating a suspicious man in the parking lot of Homewood Suite, on Middlesex Turnpike. Police could not locate the man.
A man was throwing rocks at the Double Tree hotel from across the street. An officer went out and told him to stop.

Aug. 10:
Billerica Police asked for help locating a man they believe may be living in the woods behind North Road in Bedford. An officer searched the area but cold not locate anyone.
A driver said her window shattered while she was driving on The Great Road. An officer searched the area but could not find what broke the glass.
Aug. 11:
A bicyclist was injured at Depot Park, and was taken to Lahey Hosptial.
A Dudley Road resident heard a loud bang in the basement. An officer investigate and said all was fine.
